Furrokh Khan opened Eastern Flame on South Ashley Street (where Salvatore's Pizza was) with partner Ganish Vedhapudi. Described as an "international melting pot" by Khan, the restaurant serves Middle Eastern, Indian, Greek and barbecue fare until 1 am on weeknights and 4 am on weekends. "The food I want to sell, Ann Arbor has a very good audience for it" Khan said. I've got a good feeling about this place! Check em out.
